Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)

Position: Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) *Must hold the ACT qualification*

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Working pattern: ADHOC, Regular Shifts

Shift Time: Days: 10am – 10pm, Nights: 10pm – 8am

Rates: £25 - £27 per hour 

 

Job Role

Working onsite for an online pharmacy fulfilment centre that operates day shifts 7 day per week, and night shifts 4 nights per week, Monday – Thursday.

Duties to include:

• Accurately check prescriptions against protocols set by the Medical Team, ensuring all requirements are met for safe supply.
• Use our secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to process prescriptions and maintain confidentiality.
• Check prepared medications and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch.
• Record concise and accurate notes in patient records as required.
• Follow operational protocols for prescription processing and escalate issues as needed.
• Engage in team training and meetings to stay updated on procedures and best practices.
• Maintain your professional registration and keep up with continuing education requirements.
