Pertemps Medical are currently recruiting experienced Band 6 Nurses to support a lung screening programme across Leicester, Derby and Northampton.

Job description Additional Information

• Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (Monday – Sunday)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Type: Agency / Temporaryq Competitive rates, aligned to experience and engagement model

• Deliver lung screening and health check services in line with programme requirements
• Undertake patient assessments, including history taking and clinical observations
• Support individuals through the screening pathway, ensuring understanding and engagement
• Provide health promotion and smoking cessation advice where appropriate
• Identify and escalate abnormal findings in line with clinical guidance
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with standards
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including respiratory and radiology
• Ensure adherence to clinical governance, safety and infection control protocols
• Support efficient clinic delivery and patient flow
• Work across multiple sites (Leicester, Derby, Northampton) as required

• Experience working at Band 6 level (or equivalent)
• Experience in respiratory, screening or general nursing
• Strong clinical and communication skills

• Previous experience in lung screening or health check programmes
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations

• Valid NMC Registration (Adult Nurse)
• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS
• Up-to-date Mandatory Training (BLS, Safeguarding, etc.)
• Occupational Health Clearance
• Minimum 6 months recent UK experience
